Koreans: “Whichever restaurant you go to, a water jug is placed on the table first. Despite an incredible pace of modernization, both societies (Turks and Koreans) are very conservative. There is no sexuality in the public sphere, there is a notion of “honor” and “family”. In Korea, many shops are open during lunch hours, the owner just leaves. There is a great trust in the society, theft is almost absent, petty crimes are very few compared to the west.
