Among the words that first came to light in their stone inscriptions, the Turks named the Mediterranean with the word Ak, symbolizing wisdom, and the Black Sea with the word Kara, symbolizing power.

Wisdom and power were synthesized as the Wise Power in the Sea of ​​Marmara, which connects both seas .

Marmara Group Foundation , a well-established foundation established in the world capital city of Istanbul, has been bringing together the countries and neighbors around these two seas at the Eurasian Economic Summit every year for many years . On the last day of this summit, which will be held for the 27th time in 2024 , the Wise People Session will be held , adapting the concept of wise power we explained here to today’s problems with its solutions .

More than 20 presidents of Eurasian countries have been attending the said session as speakers for many years. At the 27th summit, the 100th birthday of the wise President Süleyman Demirel (1924-2015), who served in politics for 50 years, was celebrated on this occasion.

Especially since his Presidency in 1993, Süleyman Demirel has followed a profile that brought Turkey closer to the Eurasian countries and left no stone unturned in Eurasia.

The Turks, who have given the title of sage, which they see as the primary qualification for statesmanship, to more than 20 statesmen since the Gokturk Khaganate in Greater Asia , this time they are making the Republic of Turkey, which they established in Asia Minor , stand out as a wise power in this most dangerous and complex region of the world. .
