I am Levent Agaoglu.
I am a 40-year export enthusiast and professional, poet and writer.

I also turned to poetry and writing in order to transform my observations in the countries I visited during my main profession as an exporter into culture and art. Dozens of articles and four books have been published. I worked as the Asia-Pacific company director of a leading industrialist holding company of Turkey for nearly five years between 1997-2001 in Hong Kong.
My belief that knowledge is not a subject of competition but will grow by sharing is a very fundamental characteristic of mine.
I also give lectures on business life, culture, art and literature and I am involved in interview activities.
I have developed a three-dimensional vision model: wisdom, leadership and the outside world. I believe that different perspectives between the angles of this triangle are productive. My basic principle is that the greatest human talent is the power of thought.
In 1998, I personally witnessed the vision expressed by Mr Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, in Hong Kong on the occasion of a conference.
“We Chinese companies are small shrimps in the ocean, but our solidarity creates a big impact. You Nokia, Ericson and others are like sharks in the ocean.” Jack Ma-CEO, Alibaba.com, 1999, Hong Kong.
The important thing is to have a vision, and these words are a vivid example of how far a visionary can take a company. 25 years later, Alibaba is worth 250 billion dollars, while the total value of Nokia and Ericsson, the leaders of 20 years ago, is only 36 billion dollars.
I believe that one cannot be a leader in all areas of life, including business life, by prioritising only the competitive dimension.
Leadership must be crowned with wisdom.
This approach necessitates that the concepts of sharing, solidarity and co-operation should also be emphasised.
The feature that enables Italians to always be in the leading position with their creativity in business sectors in the world is that the companies in the same sector are not only competitors but also stakeholders in co-operation and solidarity.
Within the information systematics, listening, speaking, hearing, reading, writing and asking are our most important sources of information.
